Kansas von Kassel is a beautiful 4 year old German Shepherd.  Tall and blond, this California boy is a sweet and gentle giant who loves people.  He attaches well to a strong leader, rubs up against you for affection and is eager to please.  He has a medium energy and walks well on the leash, rarely leaving your side.   Kansas is very smart and has gone through basic training.  He is house-trained, behaves responsibly when alone in the house, and knows his sit, come and heel commands.  Very sweet around people, including family members, guests and children,  Kansas does have a ‘top dog’ personality and is not recommended for any home with small dogs or cats. With dogs his size, he is a happy and social butterfly who does well in canine playgroups. If you believe in always having a firm hand on the leash, have a passion to lead and teach, and that cuddles cure everything -- then there is no place like your home for Kansas.
